Bring all your current and past deals executed outside of your TransactIQ workspace in using the Import Historical Data Tool. This feature allows you to quickly import all previously executed deals into the system so you can have a more complete picture of your work and track future renewal and expiration opportunities.
1 | From the Closed Deals tab on your Deals page, select Import Historical Data.
2 | Create Your File: Your next step will be to import your historical deal file, but for first-time users of this feature, click on the Importing Instructions (highlighted above) for details on the required fields and get your file ready for upload.
Once your file is ready, drag & drop or upload the file from your browser.
💡 Tip: Create each required field as a column and each row as a unique deal. For a quick start, use our template below.
3 | Data Mapping: Once uploaded your view will be redirected to the data mapping view.
Here you'll want to pay close attention to the Mapping Requirements key in the right corner. This will display which required fields have been identified in your template.
For fields not yet mapped, navigate to the Map Field Name column and click on any rows left to map.
Here you can select from the preset AnthemIQ fields options and select the one that matches your CSV column.
Note: this function does not currently support custom fields.
Select Next to move to the final step
4 | Review and Edit: This final view reviews the deal data in each row of your import to ensure it is complete. The Content Check in the right corner will again identify if any deals are missing required fields.
Use the scrollbar and the error icon to locate the missing data.
Click into each row to enter the missing data.
Select Finish.
5 | Find Your Deals: Your historical deals can now be found in the Closed tab of your Deals pipeline.
Click any of the newly imported deals to attach contracts or populate any additional details you want to track.
💡 Tip: Add the key dates and set key date reminders for these imported deals to take advantage of renewal and expansion reminders.
