Make a copy of This Template File. This is a read-only file, you can either download a hard-copy or make a copy directly in Google Files to begin editing. Keep the header rows for importing.
Required Fields For Successful Import
To help ensure data cleanliness and reduce the occurrance of duplicate contact records, we require the following fields for each contact record (row).

Example of correctly formatted import file below:
Once you have successfully populated & formatted your data file with all the necessary information, save it as a .CSV file.
You can add additional fields to your file in addition to these. Any existing fields or custom fields are valid to import (ie: phone number, tags (comma-separated), etc). These can be field-mapped correctly during the file upload process.
#3 Upload Your Contacts Using CSV File
1. On the Contacts Page, Click the People tab
2. Click the โ menu on the right side near Filter and select 'Import Contacts'
3. Drag & Drop or Browse to select your file and follow the import instructions
#4 Review Your Data Mapping
You have the opportunity to field map any additional fields you may have included with your file. Make sure you review all the mapped fields properly to ensure they are correct before finalizing the import.
If you have added Custom Fields, please pay careful attention to the Field Names and that they match correctly.
#5 Review Your Data & Complete Import
From here, you can edit data directly in the fields if you need to make any adjustments or delete rows you no longer want to import.
#6 Confirm Upload
Press Next to begin your upload and complete the process. Depending on the size of your file it may take several minutes to finish importing. You can check on your import progress at any time.
